This is here because it was very cool! I had the opportunity in the summer of 2017 to attend the Drum Fantasy Camp and rock-out with drummers: Steve Smith from Journey, Todd Sucherman from Styx, Simon Phillips from Toto, and Will Calhoun from Living Color! You can see my final performance with the stage band below:

We won the Westlake High School battle of the bands performing as "Tuesday Night" - the previous name of our curent band "The Fifth Flight." It is worth noting that I performed in two bands at the battle, including an "unofficial performance" by Tech12.

I spent the last 5 years as the lead drummer for our church's youth band. This was a great experience! In addition to simply having fun playing drums, I often had to improvise and/or learn new parts very quickly. But also, it was a great group of people to work with.

Recognizes the best high-school band. Includes a qualifying round, in which the band took 3rd place.
