The Fifth Flight is a rock, funk and jazz fusion band. Our sets include both covers and original songs. We have won 3 "Battle of the Bands" and numerous individual musician awards.

I've been playing the drums since I was in 5th grade! Most recently I have been in the band "The Fifth Flight" (pka "Tuesday Night Band"). We have played gigs all over Austin, and most recently won the Battle of the Bands at the Wildflower Festival.

I had the opportunity in the summer of 2017 to attend the Drum Fantasy Camp and rock-out with drummers: Steve Smith from Journey, Todd Sucherman from Styx, Simon Phillips from Toto, and Will Calhoun from Living Color! Youth Band

I spent the last 5 years as the lead drummer for our church's youth band. This was a great experience! In addition to simply having fun playing drums, I often had to improvise and/or learn new parts very quickly. But also, it was a great group of people to work with.
